You are probably losing weight for a couple reasons. Mostly, due to your change in diet and activity level. Secondly, since your bg is still 3x what it should be (even though it's lower), you are still not utilizing all the glucose (calories) that you are ingesting. More than likely you are still passing sugar in your urine and giving your kidneys a good workout. The tighter control you get of your diabetes, the more every calorie will count and weight loss should slow. Welcome aboard and good luck.
