I did WW two or three times. I lost about 30 pounds the first time but eventually gained it back. The subsequent times I just "couldn't" get behind it. If I were you I would read the scientific studies about the number of people who suceed in keeping weight off before I did a "pay for weight loss diet". There is an abundance of books out there of weight loss to give you basic info and There is OA for a suppot group that is really cheap (I believe in support groups regardless of affiliation). The "top rated" weight loss program, acording to some scientific studies is the book by Barbara Rolls, Ph.D., "Volumetrics". She is a Dietition, the Guthrie Chair of Nutrition at Penn State, past President of the Assn. for Study of Obisity and Society for Study in Ingestive Behavior and has served on the advisory Board for NIH's Institute of Diabetes, Digestion and Kidney Health. She presents a humaine program. I don't own stock in anthing having to do with her.
