I have two of them. one on my ankle and one on my left shoulder. The guy that does mine knows I have a Mitral Valve Prolapse and I am supposed to take antibiotics before doing anything that consists of bleeding...... I took my meds both times and he still made me sign a waiver saying that he wasn't responsible for anything involved if I had issues with it.

This was before I found out I have Diabetes... but I am sure if I went back and told him, it would be the same thing. He didn't make me go to the Dr, but he did make me sign a waiver pulling him from any responsibility.

I have mine where they are discreet and very small... one is a Unicorn in a heart on my right ankle, the other is my husband's name in a bed of Cherokee Roses. BUT I only got his name there after 20 years of marriage like I promised him I would do. I wouldn't dream of doing it before then... lol
