| I was dx in 1945 so I have no idea what my BGL was then. I know it was off the charts (if there were any charts then???) I had all the classic symptoms of T1 for several months before I was dx.
I was diabetic for about 40 years before glucose monitors were sold. After using the monitors I have seen a high in the 500's and a low in the teens. The ambulance crew pulled me out of the low and I signed papers that allowed me to stay home afterwards. I was OK the next morning. I have had many lows in my past before the glucose monitors existed.
The info above says I am T 1.5. That is incorrect. I am T1. How do I change that?
