| I agree with the others, you should see a urologist. There are many problems that can cause discomfort in the groin area, but serious problems can easily be ruled out on examination. Impotence is probably the least of your worries right now. If you have full-on severe pain, i'd suggest your get to an emergency room. Not sure of your age, but young men in the teens and early 20's can have testicular torsion which causes severe pain and should not be left untreated. Of course kidney stones, infection and back/spine problems can also cause pain/discomfort/spasm in that area.
