| Definetly check before and after you jog. People seem to react differently to cardio. I will drop in BG when i jog, but some also seem to go high. So i'd test my sugar before and after a jog to learn how your body reacts to cardio and find a pattern. Then afterwards i'd also recommend having carbs of some kind. I will drink a protein/carb drink with about 40 gram of carbs and 25 gram protein after i lift weights. i do not bolus for that though, but that is different from person. You might not need the protein if you are just doing cardio, but carbs yeah. I've noticed that i used to crash sometimes after workout, but the carb drink helps me.
Oh, and maybe you can use those 20 minutes to stretch and to some light yoga or something...
