Definetly check before and after you jog. People seem to react differently to cardio. I will drop in BG when i jog, but some also seem to go high. So i'd test my sugar before and after a jog to learn how your body reacts to cardio and find a pattern. Then afterwards i'd also recommend having carbs of some kind. I will drink a protein/carb drink with about 40 gram of carbs and 25 gram protein after i lift weights. i do not bolus for that though, but that is different from person. You might not need the protein if you are just doing cardio, but carbs yeah. I've noticed that i used to crash sometimes after workout, but the carb drink helps me.

Oh, and maybe you can use those 20 minutes to stretch and to some light yoga or something...

just some thoughts.
