There was a study several years ago in which one of the prediabetes groups were given diabetic medicine. It was the success rate of the reversal of insulin resistance in this group which prompted them to recommend classifying Prediabetes, and giving prediabetics oral medication. You may call them gung ho, but the ones that have had their insulin resistance reversed say Thank You!
