If you read my report in the pre-diabetes section you'll see what happened in my case. I went from high Type 2 BG readings back to pre-diabetic readings in about 3 months. I stopped taking medicine after 6 weeks. Did the medicine cure me?

Are you advocating that pre-diabetics should all start taking medicine because it's been shown to cure pre-diabetes in a group. It would be an easy way for sure. I'd like to see this research.
