| I agree -- getting coupons that require a doctor's prescription causes me to rarely redeem it because I usually don't remember to ask for one. I usually only get them for the 10 free strips, and once those are gone, the batteries get placed in another meter.
Speaking of batteries, I heard a commercial for Duracell that combined Accu-chek meters. The commercial announcer said, "And when people rely on their meter 3 to 4 times a day, they need a battery you can depend on...."
The way the commercial said it didn't make sense. It should have been "10 times a day" ... now people who hear the commercial think that all diabetics only test 3 to 4 times a day. That's hardly enough strips to get me through the morning. |
