Hi Gabe22!

The answer to the increasing muscle mass question is simple: exercise. As to the issue of excess skin, well that depends on a lot of variables. If you are young enough then you skin may shrink back to just over the muscle mass. If you aren't all that young (like me) you will find that weight loss, combined with exercise, results in both your clothes and skin not fitting as before. The clothes can be replaced or taken in. The skin can be taken in as well but that is both painful and expensive.

I've got new clothes and the same old skin even though the skin doesn't fit, it does remind me of the 75 pounds I dropped and so I'm rather proud of my loose skin.
