Troubles getting back on track
urrently seeing my diabetic team every two weeks after I "Hi"ed out my monitor (it does that after 33.3). I am using the i-test monitor. After I got that i did 60 units of humalog and then like an hour later it was still "HI" so I did another 60 before I ended up crashing about 3 hours later. ----It was not a good day. Anyway I am back to somewhat normal numbers now. All though my HA1C is still at 10 ( I need to update my signature still)
I have since seen my dietician and diabetic nurse a few times since my last post and they have me testing like 6-10 sometimes more than that a day. but the numbers are coming down. I have had some high (as in like 20 ) when i miss a bg test or forget the insulin (which happens when things get too hectic at this time of year). The goal is to be back in full control by february.
Currently we are trying to confirm whether or not i am crashing at night. that is one of the harder things to do because it means when you wake up in the middle of the night for anything you need to test you bg and sometimes it is so hard because I am so tired
But I am trying my best and hopefully I will be back in control by the goal date.
Happy Holidays
