It's perfectly fine to take them at the same time.

The only thing is I always try to avoid injecting Lantus and my rapid insulin, Novolog, in the same area. I use my thighs for the Lantus, inject Novolog in belly and arms or on the opposite thigh of where the Lantus shot was taken.
