As Carwy said, he's not on anything at this time, other than herbal supplements. He hasn't had chemo, TBI (radiation) or any steroids since 2005.
I will say, history-wise, that his mom is a Type 2, as well as his sister. His grandmother on his mom's side also had Type 2 (according to his knowledge, but he's not certain about that). It could be that his body is following the same footsteps, or maybe it's transplant related? - who knows for sure?
His BG this afternoon was:
4:30 PM = 96 (ate a taco salad)
Previously, he had eaten a bowl of cereal at a reading of 132, but he hadn't checked again until this afternoon. I'd prefer he check his BG before and after meals....if not, I'll be hooking him up to the CGMS (once I get more sensors).

I'll be checking him more this evening.
