medic alert-insulin?

I have had a Medic Alert bracelet before and stopped wearing it when it got hard to read. Now that I take Lantus at bedtime, I am going to get a new one and renew my membership. Should I say on insulin even though I am not Type 1 and don't depend on it for my life? At my Dr. appt. Thursday, he said his first reaction to my higher post prand numbers was to correct them but he was going to take a deep breath and wait a month or so to see if they will come down a bit with the carb counting and exercise. He is also going to do a A1c in a month (that will be 2 months since Lantus start). So I might be starting multiple shots sometime in the near future. Would you put "ON INSULIN" on the bracelet in these circumstances? Thanks
