| Yes, everything was fine until a few months ago. I go for checkups 2 times a year,I have not had any laser treatments for 3 years, but my eye doctor said I was at the very initial stages of cataracts (no big deal). Two weeks after I saw him, all of a sudden I was having problems seeing at night - bright lights for on coming headlights, when I would go from dark to light or visa versa it would be like hundreds of flashbulbs going off. I want back for a second opinion and there were no changes and I was supposed to have a F/A. Then I got real sick with a virus that effected my thyroid and I just found out a few days ago I have celiac. I canceled the F/A, and my eyes have gotten somewhat better. I have an appointment with my eye doctor next week and I think everything is related. Don't you just love having diabetes! By the way, I lost close to 30 pounds during this time. |
