I'm no expert but if Carwy isn't eating regularly, wouldn't his liver dump glucose like crazy? Just a thought.
I have often found that if I skip a meal and expect to be low, I'll get high instead. Go figure.
Is he carb counting at all Dewey? Have you tried lowering his carbs a bit to see what happens?
