I totally agree Funny....and the readings I'm about to post also meet the criteria:
12/30 10:50 AM = 148 (fasting)
12/30 2:12 PM = 179 (post lunch - ate cereal w/milk)
12/30 6:15 PM = 157 (pre-dinner)
12/30 9:15 PM = 257 (after eating sushi)
12/30 9:41 PM = 310

(his reading is higher than my post prandial reading, which was 191, then 232!)
I am going to check his ketones just to be safe (on the 310). He's very thirsty, but hasn't had to go to the bathroom yet. Now granted, we ate sushi & some dynamites for dinner (with fish & rice), so I understand that the BGs will be up, but still...No non-diabetic should be 310 at any time.
