Jan B, that's very sweet of you...I think sometimes the whole thing is so "overwhelming" that it just takes a few years to sort things out. When you (or your parents) figure out that the sky isn't going to fall in suddenly...it gives you time to get your life back...then learning becomes fun again.

When setbacks do occur (eyes, feet, whatever...) this forum helps us all feel more informed...which lessens the "noob" feeling. Some of my questions get shot down in the doctors office...end of discussion. Here, the answers get discussed, different views and you can find the "groove" where you are comfortable.
