That's the main reason i was relieved when i was diagnosed type 1 when i was about to turn 19... No need to worry about getting type 2 later in life

I prefer being a pincushion with freedom, than having to watch every carb because there's no way to correct highs
Sure, have to poke myself with needles sometimes up to 20 times per day (testing and injections put together), but it's so worth it
