| Back when I wore contacts, before diabetes, I would wake up some days and see perfectly well for a couple of hours. The explanation I was given was that the surface of the eye would sometimes retain the corrected curvature of the lenses imparted by the contacts.
From my experience and other reports on here changes from diabetes often revert to prediabetes after lowering bg levels. A good eye doctor, knowing you have diabetes, will not fit you for corrective lenses unless your levels are near or lower than a 100(6). |
