Diabetic in Tucson, Arizona

Hi there. I am in Tucson, Arizona. I have been type 2 diabetic for 5 years. 1 1/2 years ago, I started dieting and have lost almost 70 lbs. It is not easy.
One thing I do is take Lunesta every night so I sleep without waking up too much. And I no longer wake up and eat all night long. Someone comes every few weeks and cooks meals for me. He is aware of what I can eat and what I am limited on.
The dinners go into containers that go from freezer, to microwave, to table.
Since I have lost weight, my A1C has gone from 6.9 to 5.8
and my blood pressure is usually 110 over 70 which is exactly the level my doctor wants it at.
I am doing well and anyone is welcome to email me.

(use diabetes forums for email or pm)
