| I use the Real-Time Guardian from Mini Med they are very good and they bill my insurance company.
I have UHC from work that cost about $897 monthly and my company picks up some of the premim payments.
I applied for a secondary Insurance called MAWD in the State of PA. 5% of what ever you salary is.
So far so good they have been paying 100 % of Sensors and the Unit itsef.
Just ordered a Months supply supposed to be a box of 10 Sensors but the box arrived with 3 boxes of 10 Sensors.
I have a good 7 Months worth of Sensors and if I wear them between 6 to 9 days per Sensor you do the Math.
AT first I didn't care for them but now I feel lost with out that Instant information. When I eat correctly and enter the BG's as asked they are very close and right on.
The REal-Time Guardian just saved me by going off and letting me know the my BG was falling and my head was starting to smart and periferal vision was closing in going dark like going through a tunnel, I knew that I had to get to a bottle of coke fast. I made it within about 8 minutes and was at 62 then. I swallowed half the bottle in seconds I didn't even wait to pay for it. Had the store clerks looking at me a little strange but I would rather bear the shame then the pain that was son comming. They were just happy and shot the bull with me for a bout 10 minutes the Coke got me up to 76 within 20 minutes . I did suspend my pump.
The Real-Time Guardian was a very good thing.
Takes a lot of guess workout of the equation. Little uncomfortable but worth it.
I also have to buy IV 3000 to cover the Sensor. They are expensive. About $69 Bucks from Mini-Med and I get a Discount at Animas. Since I use an Animas 2020 I love the colored screen Just nothing like it.
Good Combo.
