This guy sounds like a car crash waiting to happen and very under prepared. Would be good if we could send him an email with a link to this forum, he sounds like he needs help. Still it sounds like he’s got an awesome girl friend; at least she cares enough to find out about his diabetes, something that he evidently hasn’t done himself.

Knowledge is not Intelligence. A lack of thirst for knowledge might be a lack of intelligence, but that doesn’t make him dumb, it just means he is ignorant.
