SoloStar Pens users

i'm going to be starting the SoloStar soon and i have a ? about them.....i asked my endo to write an Rx for syringes too since the end of the OptiClik pens leave insulin in the cartridge...he said i wouldn't need to extract any insulin since there isn't any left in the cartridge-i use the Novolog pens too and the same thing....insulin left in the cartridge after all insulin can be dialed in

any help would be great!
