I think it is important that the starting blood glucose is close to your target level. I find that simply being high changes the way my BG behaves. If it is high it tends to climb, and if it is low it tends to fall. You may find that if it had been at say, 100 at 9:00am, your blood glucose would have dropped during the second hour. Which would affect the timing of the change to your rates .....
