I got you beat.. my first was 14.2 and it blew my mind. I had a reading on the finger stick that just read HIGH.. no number.. it was higher then the monitor could calculate.
However.. I am down to 6.1 now thanks in no part to the ADA diet.. ( which I think is insane) and all thanks to reducing carbs and figuring it out on my own.
