My 13.5% was one of the highest I'd seen, but I guess some of you do have me beat. And by comparison, I guess my BG wasn't too high.

I tried to convince the doctor that day that the high BG reading was due to the girl scout cookie delivery I got the day before... Needless to say, it didn't work.
At least I didn't have to go the the hospital. I think many who are diagnosed with Type 1 are shipped off to the hospotal immediately.
