Holly said it very well. I believe in God & I've said that prayer helps on many levels (when I was helping Carwy with his Cancer, and at other times). That said, to live on prayer Alone is extremely foolish. I don't get why religious people get so caught up in their beliefs that they refuse to see the forest through the trees. If they want to go by their religious beliefs, they could see & say that God gave people the intelligence to create good treatments for those with almost any ailment, rather than trying to solely "pray" it away.

This is also why I get extremely frustrated with Religion itself....because people interpret it in such extreme ways that they become ignorant. In the recent past, I complained about a guy saying that my Diabetes was "the work of the devil" & that if I came to his church, I could be healed (Yeah, right - NOT). In my book, it doesn't work that way. We need insulin or other treatments to help us control it & to live! I for one, do not believe that Diabetes is/was the work of the devil. If it were, I would NEVER have met so many wonderful people & I Darn sure wouldn't have taken better care of my health, nor would I have been able to help Carwy with his conditions!

Last but certainly not least, I think Native Americans had the right idea about Religion(s)...

Basically what he meant was all the Religions and them quarreling about the differences in beliefs. And he was 100% right in that many do quarrel about God (and their beliefs).
