I saw the urologist today. He found trace amounts of blood in the urine and he felt that my prostate was a little large for sombody my age. He diagnosed it as "prostatitis" and gave me Cipro 500 BID for 21 days. I also am having a ultrasound of the kidneys and bladder to rule out diabetic neuropathy, I get to go back in 1 month and have the prostate "checked" again. HE said the urethral infamation was a touch of "urethritis".
In 6 days I have had two fingers in my butt and that is two too many! I also has my penis inspected and my testicles fondled! And just to think insurance paid for it all, if only Elliot Spitzer knew of this!
Before the urologist appointment today I got a call from the other doctor who said sorry we were wrong and you lab results do show a UTI
So that is the story so far.
