The ONLY difference that I can recall is the "slow" setting adds a 1 second pause between each unit and the fast just gives it all at once. Basically, you want to give a 5 unit bolus on the Animas, you get it all in under 10 seconds on fast, and maybe 15 seconds on slow.
I'd prefer it given over a 1-2 minute period. My peeve with the MM is that you can't slow it down, it's just slow.
I'm not sure what the Omnipod is and if that's a changeable setting or not.
