Poker and Diabetes?

I have only been diagnosed for about 16 months now and am still figuring out how my body reacts to different situations. What I have found is that playing poker actually raises my blood sugars. I always wondered why i could go to the casino and play a tournament and start playing with my BS around 110 and finish over 275, in about 3 hours. It baffled me because I did not have any insulin on board. Well I did some research and poker situations can cause alot of adrenaline, especially if you are bluffing. With adrenaline come the regergitation of sugar into the blood stream compliments of yours truly, your liver. Great... now playing poker is bad for my health. What will they come up with next, a sugarfree donut???
