Good luck Peter, If I were you I'd work out all my questions before I went for the appointment and write them down to remind me.( I often do this evenfor routine appointments)

By the way I followed the links from your link (they referrered to strabismus) and found that the people offering advice were a group of optometrists who seemed to be very pro visual therapy (their expertise) and not very positive about surgery.
