| Molly,
I love this short story. It's really upsetting to me how the public school people wouldn't help more. I guess they didn't want the liability. I never had to deal with anything like that since I was 18, and 2 months out of high school when I was diagnosed. I was also sent home with no answer a couple times before the correct diagnosis. The first time, the doc told my mom I was a hypochondriac.
Children's in Dallas is a fine hospital -- I'm glad they helped you out. I wish I could give you a big hug. Keep up the excellent work, and God bless your mom and you. I'm really glad you are here on DF Molly. You are a breath of fresh air and sunshine.
