| I'm looking at my logbook as I type this. First week of diagnosis I was always above 150 (both fasting and 2hr post meals) With metformin and exercise, my readings are getting better.
After my visit with my nutriotionist, things have been really good as I learned how to count carbs (and not calories)!
As of now, my morning fasting is between 90-105 and 1 hr post food is 130-140 and 2 hr is 90-115 range. Today I had about 5-6 pieces of tandoori (grilled) chicken (at Indian restaurant) and a small piece of naan (bread) and very little rice with lentils. 1 hr after lunch I was 135 and 2 hr was 112. |
