I sleep like a stone if i'm not high or low, and if i'm having a day off the day after. But if i have an alarm set, i almost always wake up maybe 1h before and don't fall asleep again until minutes before it's time to get up
If i'm high or low, i tend to wake up... If i'm high i wake up by having my mouth feeling so dry, and i can get cracks in my tongue
If i have nighttime lows, i can have dreams about eating and that usually makes me wake up and test...
