A question for all the ladies

Guys read at your own risk! Just thought I would warn you in advance.

Has diabetes affected your menstrual cycle? And if so how? I have had a pretty timely menstrual cycle for about 2 years now and ever since the beginning of this year it seems as though my period comes later and later. First it was 41 days, 11 days past due, then 47 days 17 days past due... now I have no idea when it's coming. You can imagine what I thought being 11 and 17 days late! I about had a heart attack!

I only wonder if it's the diabetes because I wasn't in control at all the first couple of months of this year. I was averaging 240-250(13.3)
