I was wondering this as well. Sometimes I wonder if the temps that they suggest (under 85 degrees F) is a low estimation. I have a friend who has a daughter with T1 and they've been on vacation in the summer at Disney (pretty hot at that time) and didn't use anything to refrigerate and everything went fine. So I think anything insulated that will keep it moderately low will be fine. I mostly keep my stuff away from direct sunlight and definitely not in the car
