Since I couldn't find a "deal" on the cable/software in a reasonable amount of time, I finally caved last week and popped for the $29+free shipping at drugstore.com for the OneTouch Diabetes Management Software Kit v.2.3.2 with a USB cable to use with my Ultra2 on my PC. I tried shmoozing one J&J rep, three pharmacists, two physicians, one RD, four R.N.s, and a homeless man who wiped my windshield?! None of them would give me the kit for free! So I didn't score the cable, but I was able to significantly increase my notoriety amongst formerly important social acquaintances?!
Anyway, I was already "up to here" (in only my first two weeks)

with manually keeping track on little pieces of paper every time I poked myself, and ate new food, and exercised, and took BP readings, etc., etc., etc.
...So bottom line -- I love it, doc loves it, nice install, nice user-friendly s/w, quick downloads from the meter -- pretty much everything I was hoping for -- all in a swell graphic display that's easy to read.
I'm still a little miffed about the $29 tho...
