| I was doing 32-ish U/day of Lantus. I switched to Levemir, and am taking the same amount.
Why the switch? Supposed better consistency and fewer hypos. So far, I agree with that. I also wanted something shorter-acting, so I could adjust my daytime basal when I plan to exercise... without having too little insulin during the night. (NPH finishes in 5.5 hours -- too quickly for overnight coverage.)
