I don't understand why in your profile you say you are type 2?
I do 25 units lantus at breakfast and humalog each meal, but I thought I was type 1? I thought lantus plus humalog defines type 1? Prior to lantus+humalog, I did lente insulin for 29 years. I think I'm type 1? I don't ask the doctor too much - I just let him give me a prescription - what does the doctor know? I use insulin because it lets me eat. Who defines type 1 or type 2? - the FDA? - the FBI? - the CIA? - the JDF?
