That is as clear a definition as I can remember.
Now, what was that definition, again?
I guess it really doesn't matter, as I find in using insulin, I can eat - that is the bottom line for me. I could care less if I have an attack on beta cells or if I have insulin resistance. This stuff of insulin is olde hatt for me these days. I wanna eat, I do insulin - simple. Well, not so simple if there is a miscalculation, but simple in terms of doing the stuff. I am not really concerned in really knowing if I am type 1 or type 2. Maybe someday I should have some tests done to find out, but I don't see any sense in the knowledge - the solution is still probably doing insulin. Insulin allows me to eat, eating allows me to live. So far, I like that.
