I think you are amazing!! And an inspiration to all diabetics! You inspire me to do and be better in my health choices. I have had diabetes for almost 40 yrs. and HAVE had some major complications,such as heart disease.,(heart bypass ten years ago in June) I,too ,have always struggled with change. I have turned down the pump,because of fear of changing things. You give me hope to make some major decisions and changes . I now am strongly considering going on the pump. I often wondered what people did back in the 20's,30's ,40's and 50's, I always assumed they died a slow miserable death,by starving themselves.But you say it was in the 20's that insulin was discovered? I am so glad you posted your story and I want to thank you for doing so. Thank-you,Thank-you,Thank-you! Many more healthy,happy years are wished for you!
