Not Starbucks... but, if you want some
good coffee... Cafe du Monde coffee with chicory root. Mix in condensed milk or soymilk, perhaps a little stevia, and serve over ice.
I generally avoid coffee, though. I can't speak to the weak toilet water most people call "coffee", but Eddy-strength stuff usually does wicked things to Eddy's blood sugar
even when there's no carbohydrate added.
Without extra insulin, hourly increases of 35 mg/dL are common; 55 mg/dL isn't unheard of. If I shoot insulin, it can't be too fast-acting, or I'm likely to go hypo with quickness.
I suppose I could try decaf, but where's the fun in that?
