) actually I said 7-10 times a day. She said "that sounds right", and I haven't had a problem. I would have to say that the test strip thing is the most frustrating about the whole maintenance of this problem. If you have to go out and buy these things, they are outrageous, and if you're like a lot of diabetics you take your meds, whether its insulin or pills, based on the readings.. GRRR....
