| Mark, I always doubt claims that insulin works that fast, and I look for other causes. Your basal is a suspect, but I think maybe you're starting to produce insulin yourself. This often happens with newly dx'd like you. Be careful over the next while and perhaps do some basal testing. An overall reduction may be necessary. If so, contact your endo.
