If you are using a Novopen then you can inject straight thru your t-shirt or even jeans i do and have done for years. I once got arrested for injecting in my town centre and spent a few hours residing at Her Majestys pleasure until the stupid prat who locked me up decided that he should perhaps ask me why i was injecting in the street. I told him i was diabetic and that it wasn't against the law and that if he didn't let me out i'd sue for a very hefty sum, he then let me go pretty fast. Having to inject does not mean that you should be banished to the toilet, just do it where you are and if someone complains just tell them politely that you are a diabetic.
