It requires coding like the ultra2, I think they basically cut features to make it "economical" and rushed it to market, that is just a guess since they did drop their own meter. Still it is their first attempt at merging the ultra technology with their own, so hopefully new revisions of the model will improve. I do like the concept, now all I need is a pump .
