| If your talking about your before dinner bolus shot, I would suggest taking your ten minute break and take your shot and eat something. If you are not going to eat until nine pm, then you should wait until you eat to take your meal shot.
There are a lot of variables left out of your question. Can you tell us a bit more? Type one? What kind of insulin? Will you be eating when you take your injection?
