at a minimum. since I have to inject myself at least 15-20 times per day, at least 2 or three of those will cause bruising due to the volume of insulin ... this means that my entire stomach is eternally black and blue with bruising.
The term Diabulemic implies that you avoid eating and taking insulin to lose weight ... but there are times when I avoid eating so that I can reduce the number of injections I need - I've lost an average of 10lbs per month since Christmas (although I'm admittedly still 225lbs - I can easily lose another 32 lbs and still be overweight for my height (6'1")
