ok as xMenace says eveyone is different and has a different regimen as a result but most people i know have around 3u fast acting for every 10g carbs, i myself have 4u to every 10g. At night your liver may decide to dump glucose into your body for some reason known only to itself which is why most t1's use a slow acting insulin before bed to counteract this and also a fast acting for any carbs we have before bed, if your regimen is due for a change or you are ill this is where you have to be carefull and go to your Dr who will advise you more thoroughly.
hope this helps
Azz
